How is WAY Radio funded?
New listeners often ask how we are funded. While most stations sell advertising, we don’t, more than half of our support comes directly from listeners. A fourth of our support comes as a percentage of what our listeners send to our broadcasters, and the last fourth is area businesses who make tax deductible contributions to the station, and the FCC allows us to thank them on the air.
