Happy Mother’s Day

May 11, 2025 Being a mother is a very important role that the Lord chooses to give to many women. A Christian mother is told to love her children (Titus 2:4-5), in part so that she does not bring reproach on the Lord and on the Savior whose name she bears. Click HERE for ways to celebrate and appreciate Mom’s from Focus on the Family.

April Update

At The CUPS Mission, they know each person has inherent worth because they were created in the image of God. We want to come alongside children in the Dominican to disciple them, provide for them, give them an education, serve them, and empower them to choose a vocation that they desire for their lives. They want to give them all the resources they need to build a life they dream of and prevent them from having to choose sexual exploitation from the lack of other choices.  A team was recently praying for women in the Red Light District in Sousa. One of the ladies on the team had come last year and prayed with women. A woman on the street recognized the team member, came up to her and showed her the cross she gave her last year, thanked her and told her she carries it all the time. Please pray for these women on the streets in Sousa.

Spring Sharathon Thursday, April 10, 2025

Are you ready to give Now? CLICK HERE When it comes to giving to God’s work, one of the most common responses is: “I can’t afford to give right now.” For most of us, we CAN afford to do what we really want to do. We do whatever it takes to pay for what’s most important. It’s not that we can’t give, it’s that we choose NOT to give. At WAY Radio, we are so thankful that there are many people who CHOOSE to give to WAY Radio financially. Those partners keep the Gospel going out through WAY Radio, and we know that God has used WAY Radio to provide for spiritual growth for many … maybe even you! Sharathon is a time for all of us to provide for one of the things that is important in your life, relevant Bible teaching. There are so many people who still need to be impacted, and we’re excited to partner alongside you. In fact, we “Praise God For That”. Sharathon is scheduled for Thursday April 10th, from 6am to 6pm. Our theme is “Praise God For That” which reminds us that we have so much to be thankful for … individually, as a community, and as a radio station. If you’re willing to help us this year, financially, so that we can continue to share God’s word with those who tune in, we’d love you to pray, asking God what HE wants YOU to do to help the community through WAY Radio. If you feel led to help, you can get your gift of support in now, simply by going to the “donation” page, just CLICK HERE Your early gifts will be used to encourage others to give during the on-air portion of our fundraiser. Thanks so much for clicking the link above now!

How are we funded?

Learn more about WAY Radio If you’re new to our family, there are some things that you should know.  You often hear us talk about being listener supported, and you might wonder exactly what that means.  It only takes about $500,000 a year to run WAY Radio, and it comes from basically 3 different sources.  We’re a 501-c-3 organization, so many of our listeners send tax-deductible donations, and that is more than 60% of our revenue.  Some, but not all, of the programs you hear share with us the donations they get from you … that’s about 25% of our revenue.  The remaining 15% comes from area businesses who want to associate with us because they too love our programming.  So, in essence almost 100% of the revenue to WAY Radio comes from listeners, either directly, through a program, or a business owner.  All of the money that comes in supports the relevant Bible teaching of WAY Radio.

Love Worth Finding

with Adrian Rogers. Listen Weekdays at 1 pm and Sundays at 11 am. If you’ve ever heard a message by Adrian Rogers, then you are aware of his quick wit and exceptional wisdom. But neither his wit nor his wisdom ever overpowered the message of the Gospel; rather, it complemented it. These inspirational quotes were tools, gifts he used to effectively communicate the truth of the Bible for everyday living. And over the years they have become identifiable with, and almost inseparable from, him. They have become “Adrianisms.” For over fifty years, through his evangelistic zeal and uncompromising commitment to the Word of God, he consistently presented the Good News of Jesus Christ with strong conviction, compassion, and integrity. Watch Video “Come to Jesus” Adrian Rogers was a devoted family man – husband to his childhood sweetheart Joyce, father to four children, grandfather to nine, and great-grandfather to six. Of all his accomplishments, Dr. Rogers often said his greatest joy centered in his relationship to Jesus Christ, his wife and family, and the church he pastored. The recipient of many honors and awards, the trophy he treasured most was one presented to him by his children one Father’s Day in which he was proclaimed The World’s Greatest Dad. Even though the Lord called him home in 2005, the plainspoken, timeless truth presented in his messages still reaches into more than 150 countries around the world and lives are being transformed daily. Tell us your story!

Your story is being written by the ultimate author and Creator-God! Has the teaching on WAY Radio been a part of “your story”? If so, please share with us! As a result others will be encouraged by what has been written in YOUR life.

Tell Your Story

Make no mistake about it: Your story matters. Don’t be afraid to tell it! There is an enemy, the devil, who doesn’t want you to tell what God has done in your life. He wants you to keep it bottled up and hidden away. He doesn’t want you to tell how you traded in your broken pieces for a beautiful masterpiece. But if we listen to the wrong voice, we will make the wrong choice. The devil will do everything he can to keep us silent, yet the Bible says God’s people will overcome the devil “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” Revelation 12:11, NKJV Your story is important for you and for others. Imagine if someone is going through what you have already been through. You could be such an encouragement. What if something you heard on WAY Radio could help another. You surly would want to help them. YOUR STORY MATTERS! Tell us your story HERE

Cups Mission Day

Thank you for supporting Cups Mission. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2025 WAY Radio first partnered with CUPS Mission in 2021. In these few years, the listeners of WAY Radio have provided the funds to support a mission that is changing lives in the Dominican Republic. It started with a community center that allows the village of Alto de la Jagua to meet to hear the Gospel as well as provide a place for the children to play basketball and learn trades that will help them provide for their family and avoid the street life that steals the innocence of so many children in the D.R. In the years since, donations from listeners have been supporting the village missionaries and providing access to the center. This vital ministry in a poor, mountainous country needs our continued help to bring THE message and an opportunity for impact. You can find out how you can give to Cups Mission at cupsmission.com. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2025 will be a day that hope continues. From 6 am until 6 pm we’ll be bringing special emphasis to the work happening in the Dominican Republic and how you can make a MAJOR contribution toward the effectiveness of the Gospel presentation. Be ready to call with your donation (or to have questions answered) at (877) 291-6501 or click HERE to be taken to The Cups Mission page. Your gift will get a child into the discipleship program in Alto de la Jagua, as well as provide missionary support to the community. Thank you for joining us in this special ministry at the WAY Radio Community Center in the Dominican Republic.

Chosen People Ministries with Mitch Glaser Saturdays at 12:30 Chosen People Ministries exists to pray for, evangelize, disciple and serve Jewish people everywhere, and to help fellow Christian believers do the same. Over the years, different aspects of the ministry’s outreach have continued and expanded, but the real work is done through family ministry. There are many Jewish-Christian family trees whose spiritual roots began through the outreach of this ministry originating from the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York. I am grateful for our heritage. Yet I also am able to rejoice that in many ways, Chosen People Ministries is now more vital than ever. We have changed some of our means of communication – I like to joke that Rabbi Cohn probably did not have as effective a website as we do today – but in the midst of change and utilizing modern technology, we continue to hold fast to the rabbi’s vision of evangelizing and discipling Jewish people worldwide. ~Mitch Glaser~

How is WAY Radio Funded?

Here’s something you might like to know. New listeners to WAY Radio often ask how we are funded.  While most radio stations sell advertising, we don’t, more than half of our support comes directly from listeners.  A fourth of our support comes as a percentage of what our listeners send to our broadcasters, and the last fourth is area businesses who make tax-deductible contributions to the station, and the FCC allows us to thank them on the air.  Now that that’s cleared up, you can become part of the financial team and know your role when you donate. Please become a faith partner at wayradio.org/donate.

June 2024 Update

We had an incredible testimony come out of Alto de la Jagua. (Transcript) While the children were enjoying playing basketball together and then breaking up into their age appropriate discipleship groups, the adults in the community were also growing their faith through men’s and women’s discipleship where they’ve been learning what it means to be a part of Christian community and follow Jesus’ command to love your neighbor as yourself.  In response to this, the ladies have started pooling their limited resources to make sure that an elderly widow in the community has everything she needs, and to take opportunities to pray with her and encourage her in Jesus’ name. Your gifts of support have made this possible.  thank you!   Donate here
